Dynamic Button Sets?

As I said in How To Remember What Each Button Does? I’ve not yet received my pair but…

… I might want to set up the buttons dynamically - perhaps for a specific application.

Is it feasible to create (and swap) dynamic button sets? “Dynamic” as in “the buttons do one set of things at one point, and then can be switched to do a different set of things”.

Thoughts?

Yes, this already exists on the Mac app. Just hit all four buttons and you can interactively choose a different app.
