Although the readings in the dropdown show correctly as Celcius, the sliders to alter temperature seem to only display in Farenheight, a scale that means nothing to me. Can the app read my preference through the Nest API and display the values on the UI controls appropriately?

Or guess based on location. For example Fahrenheit is unlikely in Germany, despite the name being German (language). I wonder if there is an API for this.
The whole point is I have specified, on my Nest device. This preference can be read through the API. There’s no need to get complicated with location-based guessing, or providing another UI to set a local preference.
